Linking Awareness to Action An Earth Day Network Project

water story

Welcome to the Global Water Network

Over one billion people are without access to adequate water supply and 2.5 billion lack basic sanitation, leaving millions to die every year from otherwise preventable water-related diseases. The Global Water Network is a comprehensive resource to raise awareness about water issues and to raise funds to help build water and sanitation projects where they are needed most.

You can make a difference by adopting a project to provide water and sanitation to communities in need. Learn More »
Water for Schools Burkina Faso This project is focused primarily in the small bush village of Tantiaka, or “La Petite” where there are no latrines at all.
